The weather was great on Saturday and nine of us set off with our Anthony Nolan numbers on our backs on a lovely route of approx 70 km. Francis and the non-cycling members of "L'equipe Kelsall" met us half-way with much needed snacks and drinks.
All the scenery was stunning and Susie and Marie Claire had planned a route with lots of places of interest to view along the way.Unfortunately, the weather was unkind to us on Sunday and it rained all day but we still managed a very soggy walk and then four of us took a last-minute run at 6pm, getting home just before dark.
On Monday the day was more leisurely with a guided visit round a church at Mesterrieux, followed by a wine tasting at Chateau Bellerm:- http://www.chateaubellerm.fr/- what a grand way to finish the "Tour"!
