BACK FROM TRAINING IN FRANCE
But training for what, you may ask!! Judging by the amount of wine and good food consumed you might quite rightly assume I was in training as a Masterchef judge but I did fit in some bike training!
Bill and I found a beautiful new walking/cycling route called the Voie Verte de L'Agly which runs 18km from Port Barcares to Rivesaltes (home of aforementioned wine!!). So I did that return trip one day, followed by a ride into Leucate in the afternoon, so I totalled about 52 miles that day. I also did part of the "Agly" route with Bill another day and also got completely lost in the hills behind Leucate one day for about 2 hours so training was full of unexpected challenges!

TABLE TOP AND CEILIDH
The table top sale brought in £18 only but, more importantly, it gave me a chance to look round the venue again and publicise the Ceilidh and I'm hopeful it will bring in more people to come along and join the fun! Someone there has already put aside 9 tickets and she is very excited about dancing to the Cock and Bull band again, so it's looking good. I also spoke to Pete from the band yesterday and he's doing his promotional bit as he goes round other events/gigs.

AMPTHILL ROTARIANS
I gave a short presentation at their lunchtime session today and they were generous enough to give me a donation towards my fundraising - so many thanks to them. I also sold a few recipe books to some members as well, so it was a most worthwhile and enjoyable event.
Table top sale this Saturday, followed by friends round for dinner - a day where planning will come in handy to fit it all in!!

HALF WAY THERE!!!
According to JustGiving I'm 50% of the way towards my fundraising, which is great.
It's actually more than that as "Team Dri-Eaz" has another £870 between us so things are looking good!
Plans are coming together for the Ceilidh and I have a table-top sale on Saturday which may bring in some more and provide me with the opportunity to advertise the Ceilidh some more
