I just finished a training run, 18km so I find comfort in thinking that's one third of what we have to do on our "easier" days. Trying very hard not to think about the fact that it's one sixth of what we do on the harder days, and there aren't days in between to recover!
The temporary event licence for the Ceilidh has come through, so it's officially on. Struggling with raffle prizes; only have one so far, but will keep plugging away. However, the prize I have got is pretty good; it's a 2-hour personal shopping trip with Elaine from Green and Brown. along with a personal style consultation so many thanks to Elaine. I wouldn't mind winning that one myself!!
My butcher, the Best Butcher in Great Brickhill is selling my recipe book, so many thanks to him for his support

PAY FOR RECIPE BOOK VIA PAYPAL
I've now set up a paypal button so if anyone would like a recipe book and is not local, it can be bought this way.
Training a bit quiet due to the weather, but I have managed a few indoor sessions. I shall have to play a video of Cuba when I'm peddling to get me in the mood!

CEILIDH
I have my Ceilidh booked for 19th June; the band is the Cock and Bull band who are, by all accounts terrific! More details to follow- the ticket price will include food and there will be drinks available which I think we'll need with all that dancing!
Diet underway too and I have started swimming to build up fitness - cycling is a bit tricky in this snow! Hoping for better weather soon
