MEMORY LOSS AND TRAINING (ARE THEY RELATED?)

Since my last post, I've been keeping up training.  In France, Bill and I cycled the Voie Verte de l'Agly again and this time stopped for a coffee in Rivesaltes where I got to babysit a very cute puppy whilst her owner popped into the Boulangerie!.  Then another round the top of Leucate Village where I got lost once more and, the most spectacular of all, one along the Canal de Robine from Port La Nouvelle up to Mandirac near Narbonne (see above).
Since coming home I've started going to MKFit Boot Camp http://www.fitmk.com/
which nearly killed me the first time and rendered me incapable of negotiating stairs unassisted for two days,  and have done one more Parks Trust ride of 18 miles last Sunday and yesterday on my own 31 miles round one of Milton Keynes' heritage trails.
BUT I forgot my hairdresser was coming and tried to cycle back home from Great Linford as fast as I could but couldn't make it in time.  She was very understanding (she's used to my memory) and wouldn't accept money for the missed appointment but I shall make it up next time she comes.
AND today I forgot my pin number at the petrol station, my card got locked,  and I had to go back with the cash.  At which point I threw in the towel and refuse to do anything else for the rest of the weekend.
Is there a link between cycle training and addled brains?!
