Well, here it is- the new bike!  The other one was going to cost so much to fix,   I decided to buy a brand new one! Took it out for first run today as it is such a beautiful day - I seriously thought we would never see the sun again!  I did the same run  (18km) as last time and it was much smoother on this lovely new machine.  Bill will be joing me on training runs which will be fun, but things will have to warm up for him first - he's a real hot weather man!

Good news with recipe books; a pair of fellow Cubarites (is there such a word!) appear to have taken on the mantle of my European distributor for the recipe book, as they have ordered quite a few to send to friends- so thanks to Francis and Susie!

Also, Aubergine Fine Foods have sold one, as have Best Butchers and Sandwich @ Sam's so things are going well on that front.
