TRAINING ETC.

I just finished a training run, 18km so I find comfort in thinking that's one third of what we have to do on our "easier" days.  Trying very hard not to think about the fact that it's one sixth of what we do on the  harder days, and there aren't days in between to recover!
The temporary event licence for the Ceilidh has come through, so it's officially on.  Struggling with raffle prizes; only have one so far, but will keep plugging away.  However, the prize I have got is pretty good; it's a 2-hour personal shopping trip with Elaine from Green and Brown. along with a personal style consultation so many thanks to Elaine.  I wouldn't mind winning that one myself!!
My butcher, the Best Butcher in Great Brickhill is selling my recipe book, so many thanks to him for his support

    18km is very impressive.

    I'm trying to average 10 miles a night (when theres no snow)

    The fact that you're going out every night is impressive! I'm too and from work in the dark at present!

    I did 20 miles (32 km) today and currently feel like I have been hit by a bus..................

    I'm sure I will feel worse tomorrow :-)

    Having just started a fundraising page last night(http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/SUSIEANDFRANCIS)
    we're beginning to realise that "the first shall be last & the last shall be first" may not be totally accurate. We're definitely feeling very last - just about ready for the voiture balai in TDF terminology. Just wanted to say that your Cuba blog is very good and how do you get this paypal system working if you have things to sell. Off to look at Williams site now - bonne continuation. Francis & Susie.

    Hi Francis

    Once you've set up your paypal account, go into the section entitled "products and services" abnd then into "website payments standard" and you get the option to cut and paste the button into your webpage. I did have a few attempts but got there in the end!!
